RMU Group has been awarded a High-Rise Residential Development in North Acton area, delivering drylining, finishing, and painting & decorations package on a landmark comprising 350 apartments split on 35-storey high building. Our scope includes full drylining works with TJ finish, alongside painting and decorating to all apartments and communal areas. The project also incorporates commercial spaces located on Levels 10 and 35, requiring a high standard of coordination and finish throughout this mixed-use development.

Project: 6 Portal Way – Commercial Unit (Complete Project)

The completion of the 6 Portal Way commercial unit project marked another successful milestone for our team. The scope of works included full drylining throughout the unit, incorporating all T&J (Tape & Joint) finishing to achieve a clean, seamless surface ready for final decoration. In addition, we installed a high-quality panel ceiling system, ensuring both durability and a professional finish suitable for a commercial environment.

Despite the size of the contract, we approached the project with the same level of precision, organisation, and commitment that we apply to larger developments. Our attention to detail, adherence to programme timelines, and high standard of workmanship ensured the project was delivered efficiently and to the client’s satisfaction.

By successfully delivering this small contract to a high standard, we were able to build strong trust and confidence with the client. This ultimately led to being awarded The Portal project, demonstrating that reliability, quality, and professionalism — even on smaller jobs — can create opportunities for larger and more significant contracts.

Project: East Riverside (Live Project)

RMU Group Ltd has been awarded the SFS, Metsec, Obex boarding, mastic, and EPDM package on a multi-block residential development comprising three round towers and five separate blocks. The project includes high-rise elements, with the towers ranging between 15 and 20 storeys, alongside mid-rise blocks ranging from 5 to 8 storeys.

Our scope of works covers the full installation of the SFS Metsec framing systems, Obex external sheathing board, EPDM membrane application, and all associated mastic works to ensure airtightness and weatherproofing across the entire development. The package requires detailed coordination across multiple elevations and building forms, particularly to the curved façade design of the towers, maintaining high standards of quality, sequencing, and programme delivery throughout.
